Driver Standards <br /> <br />Service providers are expected to comply with the followi_ng driver standards. <br /> <br />1. Providers will require health records on the physical condition of drivers as a condition <br /> of h/re and BI-armually thereafter. Professional references for drivers will be required <br /> as a condition of employment. Providers will ensure that drivers are properly licensed <br /> to operate a motor vehicle. <br />2. Provider must obtain Criminal Records Check (CORI) and statement as to any moving <br /> violations as defined by the Registry of Motor Vehicles for all prospective drivers. <br />3. Driver should have experience in driving multi Passenger vehicles and a good basic <br /> .knowledge of the service area and'are provided with detailed maps of the service area. <br />4. Drivers must be skilled in passenger assistance, techniques. Driver should assist <br /> passengers as necessary. Drivers should shut offvehicle and remove keys when not <br /> occupying driver's seat. <br /> <br />Drivers must be in compliance with all local, state and federal laws, rules, regulations ,. <br />and licensing requirements for the transportation of passengers. <br /> <br />Drivers must maintain a courteous attitude at all times. Additionally, drivers are <br />expected to look professional.
