In closing, historic sites are also <br />frequently encountered." <br /> <br />Mr. Cliff Herndon, Property Owner Beech B1uff, addressed-the <br />Board stating his concern is the height of the land and the <br />ineffectiveness of 100 feet of bufferyard. <br /> <br />Carl Masud, addressed the Board stating in the morning before he <br />goes to school, he looks out of his window. He sees blue birds, <br />cardinals and ~ometime geese. He watches the deer. feed in his <br />back yard. He and his friends play in the woods along the river. <br />They like to climb trees and build forts'.' He said h~ 'fears this-thing <br />that they call a park is not the park he imagines. He said he thinks <br />their park-will destroy the place where the kids in his subdivision <br />like to play. But most of all,'he thinks it will destroy the homes of <br />his friends, the birds, rabbits and deer. He said on behalf of all the <br />children he thinks they should not build this industrial park next to <br />their subdivision. <br /> <br />Ms. Vivian Lordj ProPerty Owner Beech Bluff, addressed the <br />Board stating her concern is the water and she asked the Board to <br />study that ........ becaus:e th_e__y- wil~._.be impacting them ina nu.._mber of <br />d-iff~re-ttt ways.. <br /> <br />Mr. Dwayne Jordan' AsSistant Aviation Director .of the Concord <br />Regional Airport; addressed the Board stating it is very important <br />to point one thing out on the map that has not been brought up <br />tonight.
