Ail revenues generated by this assessment fee shall be used <br />in the following manner: Twenty-five per cent (25%) of ail revenues <br />generated shall be paid to the City of Concord. Twenty-five per cent (25%) <br />of all revenues shall be paid to the City of Eannapolis. Twenty-five percent <br />(25%) of all revenues shall be paid to the Hooe-Untz Company. Twenty-five <br />percent (25%) of all revenues shall be paid to Centex Homes. The total <br />amount paid to Booe-Untz and Centex shall be fifty percent (50%) of the funds <br />they paid for the installation of water lines in this projeot. <br />When Booe-Untz and Centex Homes have been rei~ursed the revenues generated <br />by this assessment fee shall be used in the following manner: Fifty per cent <br />(50%) of all revenues generated by this project shall he paid to the City of <br />Concord. Blackwel~ on His Retirement <br /> <br /> Sheriff Hrad Riley recognized Deputy Talmadge D. Hlackwelt on his <br />retirement from the Cabarrus County Sheriff's Department. He began <br />emplo~ent on October 15, 1972 and will retire on June 28, 2001. <br /> <br /> On behalf of the Board, Vice Chairman Carruth presented a plaque of <br />appreciation to Deputy Blackwell for his service to the citizens of Cabarrus <br />County. Board mer~ers congratulated Deputy Blackwell on his retirement and <br />thanked him for his service. <br /> <br />N~W BUSINESS <br /> <br />Road Name Chanqe (Unnamed Easement to Rumple Estates Road) - Public Hearing - <br />6:30 p.m. <br /> <br /> Mr. Marshall presented the proposal to name an easement off Tuckaseegee <br />Road as Rumple Estates Road. He stated the road had been referred to as <br />Rumple Estates Road but had no official name. <br /> <br /> At 7:40 p.m., Chairman Fennel opened the public hearing to consider the <br />naming of an unnamed easement off Tuckaseegee Road to Rumple Estates Road and <br />asked if anyone wished to speak either for or against the proposed road name. <br />The Public Hearing Notice was published in THE INDEPENDENT TRIHUNE on June 8 <br />and June 17, 2001. <br /> <br /> Mr. W. A Rumple, resident of the unnamed easement, stated that the <br />Rumple family had lived in that area since 1756 and they would like to keep <br />the name ~Rumple Estates Road." <br /> <br /> There was no one else present to address the Hoard, and Chairman Fennel <br />closed the public hearing. <br /> <br /> UPON ~OTION of Co~issioner Privette, seconded by Chairman Fennel and <br />unanimously carried, the Hoard approved the following motion: Since the road <br />has been known as Rumple Estates Road since 1756 that it continue to be <br />called "Rumple Estates Road" until the end Of time. <br /> <br />Non-Emergency Ambulance Franchise Requests by Specialized Transport and <br />Harrisburg Volunteer Fire and ResoueI Inc. - Public Hearinq - 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br /> Mr. Ron Harwood, Director of Emergency Medical Services, reported that <br />NuCare Carolina had informed him they are terminating service in Cabarrus <br /> <br /> <br />
