CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Meeting Date: April 17, 2000 <br /> <br />Agenda Item <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Recognition of Northwest Cabarrus High School Student Body Of~cers for the CPR <br />Training Project on April 6, 2000 - Vice Chair Carolyn Carpenter <br /> <br />A free Adult CPR training session was held at Northwest Cabarrus High School on April 6. The <br />event was organized as a year end project by the Student Council in an effort to break the current <br />Guinness World Records for the number of individuals simultaneously trained in Adult CPR at one <br />location as well as provide an important service to the community. Over 1,420 students, teachers <br />and members of the community were trained during the event. The Student Body Officers are Travis <br />Dove, President; Candice Page, Vice President; Kristen Lilly, Secretary; and George Wood, <br />Treasurer.
