comfortable working with this population and has worked effectively to coordinate the <br />daily operation of the substance abuse program with the SDP staff. <br /> Ed Henne, CSAC has worked with the SDP as one of our substance abuse <br />counselors ~'or the past year. He will provide training and assistance with the Cognitive <br />Restructuring materials. He is also internationally certified in addictions. <br /> Abdul Haqq, CSAC will provide back up for the counseling staffas necessary. He <br />has worked for our organization for the past eighteen months on a part-time basis. He <br />currently directs the Dealers Group at the SDP program. <br /> Angle Pitcher, CSAC has worked for SAIL for the past two years in our intensive <br />outpatient treatment program in Albemarle. She conducts groups and individual sessions <br />as well as monitors the progress of recovery for our clients. She also substitutes at our <br />SD? site when Staffare sick or on vacation and will be assisting in the development ot~ <br />our newest intensive outpatient program in Salisbury. <br /> Gary Kaufman, D. Min. CSAC, LPC has also worked with our organization for the <br />past three years. He serves as the Counselor Coordinator in the Albemarle location as <br />well as facilitating groups in the Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program. He also <br />facilities family therapy. Gary will be involved in providing ongoing counselor training <br />and back-up for counselors when they are sick or on vacation. <br /> A case manager and counselor specifically for this program will be hired after the <br />awarding of the contract. We agree to maintain at least one CSAC on staff Each <br />counselor must have experience with the offender population. It is estimated that two <br />part-time employees will be hired initially for the program. As group size grows and in <br />compliance with the contract, additional staff will be added. <br /> SAIL will offer treatment in the evenings to accommodate the employment <br />schedule of clients. Groups will run five nights a week and the case manager and <br />counselor will be available to in the afternoons to do individual sessions. Since SAIL <br />operates similar IOPT's in Mecklenburg and Stanly Counties the possibility exists to take <br />into consideration the living and working location of Cabarrus County residents who this <br />program serves. Of course, this will not be offered if deemed as not appropriate by the <br />Advisory Board <br /> <br />FINANCIAL STABILITY <br /> <br /> All of our company corporate records are completed and reviewed by Brenda <br />Skinner, CPA. As a small organization we have never found it necessary to have our <br />company records audited by an independent agent. SAIl, is a wholly owned division of <br />Psychiatric and Forensic Associates, P.A., a corporation with Federal Tax ID # 56- <br />1941865. <br /> Psychiatric and Forensic Associates, PA maintains malpractice and general <br />liability insurance in the amount of $1m/$3m, which indemnifies the County from <br />liability claims; appropriate workman's compensation insurance for staff serving clients, <br />and is licensed by the State as a Treatment Service Provider. <br /> <br /> <br />
