The City Manager will distribute the survey to all Kannapolis City Employees and
have them returned to GF by the middle of Sanuary. Mr. Hales will also seek to
distribute the survey to local churches and others as they become available.

A presentation of study findings should be made to the Karmapolis City Council at
either the February or March 1999 meeting.

Mr. Hales suggested that the project be discussed with representatives of Atlantic
American Properties, which own and operate Cannon Village. He provided names
and telephone numbers of representatives. Subsequently, Bob Pressley spoke with
Diane Moon, Vice President about the need for service from her perspective. She
advised that she did not see Village shoppers as potential users, but felt that
service to employees of FieldcrestffCannon might benefit and could lessen the
demand for parking within the Village complex.

c: Sarah LaBelle, Cabarrus / S. Rowan MPO
