A settlement has been reached with the insurance <br />carrier of the driver at fault. The driver's coverage, however, was not gmat enough to <br />cover the replacement cost . We intend to combine the funds from the settlement <br />($25,000) and proceeds from the sale of the damaged vehicle with county funds to <br />purchase a new ambulance. <br /> <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />1. Declare ambulance # 943 surplus and direct staff to solicit offers to purchase. <br />2.
