-/ <br /> <br />Title Block - it shall contain the words "conveyance plat" and shall include the <br />township, parcel identification number, subdivision name, date, scale, name, and <br />address of owners and name, and address of registered land surveyor. The Title Block <br />shall be located at the bottom fight hand comer of the plat. <br /> <br />Survey - the boundary lines on the tract to be subdivided shall be detesa~ined by an <br />accurate survey prepared, sealed, and signed by a registered land surveyor. The survey <br />shall be drawn in accordance with G.S. 47-30, Section 3, Part (M). <br /> <br />3. Location and labeling of all streets which adjoin the property. <br /> <br />4. Current zoning of the property. <br /> <br />5, Location and description of all existing su~ctures on the property. <br /> <br />6. Name, address, and parcel identification numbers of adjacent property owners. <br /> <br />7. The conveyance plat may not be larger than 8 1/2 by 14 inches. <br /> <br />A vicinity map, valid north arrow and original surveyor seal and signature to <br />meet the requirements of the N.C. Surveyors Standards and Practices. <br /> <br />Section 66-39. Preliminary plat"r~uirements and review process <br /> <br /> The preliminary plat is the first graphic document which indicates the proposed division of land into <br /> lots and/or streets. The following procedures and requirements must be followed to get pre'hninaty <br /> plat approval: <br /> <br /> A. General - The subdivider sh~li submit four (4) copies of the preliminary plat for review by the <br /> Planning and Zoning Staff and other agencies. These copies must be received by the Planning <br />i,,~D and Zoning Department at least twenty-one (21) days prior to the regularly scheduled meeting <br /> of the Planning and Zoning Commission. If'revisions are needed, the subdivider must submit <br /> twenty (20) copies of the revised preliminary plat to the Planning and Zoning Depasiment at <br /> least one week prior to the meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission. If there are no <br /> revisions needed, the subdivider will be required to submit an additional sixteen (16) copies of <br /> the plat, for a total of twenty. <br /> <br />Proposed developments that fail within one of the Urban Growth Areas must meet specific <br />requirements of the appropriate urban municipality for roads, storm drainage, sediment and <br />erosion control, etc. <br /> <br />11 <br /> <br /> <br />
