Box 25201 <br />Raleigh, NC 27611-5201 <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Allen: <br /> <br />Cabarms County Department of Social Services is submitting the enclosed amended <br />request for funds for SFY 1998-99 for Work First/Employment Transportation <br />Assistance. This request is being made for $14,577.00, which is through the $1 million <br />formula-based allocation. It is essentially the same as last year's request, with only minor <br />modifications, such as our new address, and the amount requested. <br /> <br />We are also enclosing the Statement of Commitment for Formula Allocation, which has <br />been signed by the County Manager, Transportation Coordinator, and DSS Director. <br /> <br />Per our telephone conversation with Charles Glover on December 10, we advised him that <br />our Board of County Commissioners will not meet until December 21, which is past the <br />submission deadline. He advised us to submit our proposal and forward to your office the <br />signed resolution from the Board authorizing financial assistance from NCDOT/PTD as <br />soon as it is authorized by them. This will be done as quickly as possible. <br /> <br />Your consideration of the enclosed proposal is greatly appreciated.
