RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A REIMBURSEMENT POLICY <br /> FOR THE <br /> CABARRUS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />PARTICIPATION IN THE EXTENSION OF SANITARY SEWER SERVICE <br />TO THE <br /> CROSSROADS AREA OF U.S. 601 AND N.C. 24/27 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Cabarrus County, North Carolina has constructed the Muddy Creek <br />Wastewater Treatment Plant; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a collection network must be constructed to provide sanitary'sewer <br />service to the crossroads of U.S. 601 and N.C. 24/27; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Concord Engineering Department has agreed to provide <br />engineering services and partial funding for the provision of sanitary sewer service; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, private property owners have agreed to provide partial funding for the <br />provision of sanitary sewer service; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a request is being made to' the Cabarrus County Board of <br />Commissioners to provide the remaining necessary funding; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, sanitary sewer service will be available to additional properties in the <br />crossroads area and those property owners will not have contributed to the expense <br />of extending service; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Cabarrus County Board of <br />Commissioners resolve: <br /> <br /> 1. That Cabarrus County supports the extension of sanitary sewer service to <br /> the crossroads area of U.S. 601 and N.C. 24/27; and <br /> <br /> 2. That the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners agree to provide the <br /> necessary remaining funding to make the extension of services possible; and <br /> <br /> 3. That the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners establish a Crossroads <br /> Sanitary Sewer Service Availability Fee to obtain reimbursement of Cabarrus <br /> County funding; and <br /> <br /> 4. That the Crossroads Sanitary Sewer Service Availability Fee shall be <br /> collected by the following manner: <br /> <br /> <br />
