At the meeting November 29, the Board also adopted procedures for voting at the Legislative
Goals Conference. These procedures are as follows:

1. Each county has one vote, to be cast by the designated voting delegate.

Goals approved by the Board and recommended to the membership may be approved by
majority vote of those present and voting.

Amendments to goals described in 2 (above) may be approved by majority vote of those
present and voting.

New goals, i.e. those not included among those recommended by the Board to the
members, may be placed on the agenda by a two-thirds vote of those present and voting.
Following approval of a motion to place a new resolution on the agenda, it may be
approved or amended by a majority vote of those present and voting.

Please note that discussion is not limited to voting delegates.

Again, please review these goals and contact the Association if you wish additional information
or would like to schedule an opportunity to discuss these issues. We hope you will plan to attend
the Legislative Goals Conference and we look forward to seeing you there.
