Rates and charges for engineering services as stated <br />previously shall be based on direct personnel expenses, plus <br />direct reimbursable expense at cost. The established rates <br />are: Engineer, $60.00 per hour; Secretary, $20.00 per hour. <br />(Rates will be valid until July 1, 1996.) <br /> <br />Direct reimbursable expenses: <br /> <br />Travel at twenty-five cents per mile, plus time <br />at above rate, plus actual out-of-pocket personal <br />expenses. <br /> <br />b. Long distance telephone, telegraph and postage at actual <br /> cost. <br /> <br />c. Cost of printing, drafting and other materials required <br /> for the job at actual cost. <br /> <br />10. For the design of water and sewer lines, the amount paid <br /> will be based on the feet of pipe in the project: <br /> <br />The charge for the design of water lines will be $0.75 <br />per linear foot ($500.00 minimum charge). <br /> <br />The charge for the design of sewer lines will be $1.00 <br />per linear foot ($500.00 minimum charge). <br /> <br />Survey work for the above designs will be in addition <br />to the above charges and will be negotiated with survey <br />companies as required. <br /> <br />For the design of sewage pump stations, water booster <br />stations, elevated tanks, etc., the amount paid will be <br />negotiated based on an estimated number of hours at the rate <br />of $60.00/hour. <br /> <br />11. For preparing application forms and completing supporting <br /> data for federal, state or local agencies, reviewing plans <br /> for new subdivisions, approving Letters of Credit for <br /> developers, and performing the general duties of the <br /> Engineer, the Engineer will be paid by the Owner based on the <br /> rates listed in Number 9. <br /> <br />Part V - General Conditions <br /> <br />All invoices for engineering services will be due within thirty <br />(30) days after the date of the invoice and no part shall be <br />'withheld on account of delays or performance of Contractor, or to <br />cover the cost of work not specified but which the Owner may <br />consider necessary or desirable. <br /> <br /> <br />
