Planning and Zoning Commission Minutes <br />~une 15~ 1995 <br /> <br />Page 8 <br /> <br />Industrial and the remaining approximately 80 acres to remain <br />Limited Industrial, seconded by Mr. Browrdow. <br /> <br />In response to a request for clarification of the motion, Mr. Newton <br />said the motion on the floor is to approve as staff recommended. <br /> <br />Mr. Hill asked the Chair to break her motion down to consider <br />each individual parcel. <br /> <br />The Chair withdrew her previous motion, Mr. Brownlow <br />withdrew his second. <br /> <br />The Chair MOTIONED to rezone the Austin property to the east of <br />the proposed Westside Bypass from Low Density Residential to <br />Limited Industrial, seconded by Mr. Moose. <br /> <br />Mr. William Austin, Property Owner, addressed the Board stating <br />he has no problems with the rezoning change. <br /> <br />The vote was unanimous. <br /> <br />The Chair MOTIONED to rezone the property to the west of the <br />Westside Bypass, north of Highway 73 from Light Industrial to <br />Low Densi,ty Residential, seconded by Mr. Jeter. The vote was <br />unanimous. <br /> <br />The Chair MOTIONED that the remaining of Mr. Barbee's <br />property, which is currently zoned Light Industrial, east of the <br />West_side Bypass and north of Highway 73 remain Light Industrial. <br /> <br />Mr. Brownlow asked if the motion is to deny the petition. <br /> <br />Mr. Newton said he would like to refer to our attorney for <br />clarification. He said his understanding is as a result of the <br />discussion at last month's meeting, we advertised the remainder of <br />Mr. Barbee's property to be considered for rezoning. At tonight's <br />meeting, we have heard testimony from Mr. Barbee's attorney, Mr. <br /> <br /> <br />
