the real property and all books and other assets of the branch libraries <br />shall be and remain with Cabarrus. Title to assets acquired in the <br />future for the Cannon Memorial Library will be in Concord and title to <br />assets acquired in the future by the branch libraries shall be in <br />Cabarrus. <br /> <br /> 8. Ail purchases of books, supplies and all expenditures of money <br />shall be made by the Head Librarian under the provisions of the Local <br />Government Finance Act. <br /> <br /> 9. Contributions to the County library system by persons, firms, <br />interest groups or governmental subdivisions to fund particular items may <br />be accepted and used for the purposes designated subject to approval by <br />the Head Librarian and the Board of Library Trustees. <br /> <br /> 10. This Contract shall be effective upon its execution and shall <br />remain in force and effect through December 31, 1995.
