Emergency Medical Service <br /> <br /> The EMS is operating withminimumstaffing, and this makes <br />accurate assignment of resources critical. EMS has devised a <br />complex method of unit move-ups or standby's. When one EMS unit is <br />dispatched on a call other EMS units move-up to fill in the area of <br />the unprotected portion of the County. A failure in proper move- <br />ups could leave an area of the county unprotected, and could cost <br />someone their life. The current CAD system is unable to suggest <br />any move-ups.
