ENGINEERING REPORT FOR BIDS <br /> ON <br />MUDDY CREEK WWTP AND INTERCEPTOR <br /> <br />August 1, 1994 <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />III. <br /> <br />IV. <br /> <br />DATE AND TIME OF BID OPENING: <br /> <br />Muddy Creek WWTP and Interceptor Time: 2:00 pm Date: June 15, 1994 <br /> <br />LOCATION OF BID OPENING: Cabarrus County Commissioner~ Meeting Room <br /> <br />REPORT SUBMITTED TO: Water & Sewer District of Cabarrus County <br /> <br />DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT: <br /> <br />The project entitled "Muddy Creek WWTP and Interceptor" consists of one single prime <br />(Contract S), or three multiple prime (Contract A - General, Contract B - Mechanical and <br />Plumbing, Contract C - Electrical) lump sum contract(s) for the construction of a 0.075 <br />MGD wastewater treatment plant; and one unit price contract for the construction of <br />approximately 4,563 LF of 21 and 20-inch sanitary sewer, 5,367 LF of 18-inch sanitary <br />sewer, and 2,997 LF of 12-inch sanitary sewer, and associated appurtenances. The <br />sewer lines and treatment plant will serve the Midlands community of Cabarrus County. <br /> <br />ADVERTISEMENT FoR BIDS: <br /> <br />The "Advertisement for Bids" was published in the Concord Tribune. <br /> <br />Drawings and Specifications were available for public review during the advertisement <br />period at the following locations: <br /> <br />Cabarrus County Utility Department, General Services Building, Concord, <br />N.C. <br /> <br />F.W. Dodge Offices in Raleigh, Greensboro, and Charlotte, N.C.; and <br />Columbia, S.C. <br /> <br />3. A.G.C.
