Membership of the Authority Board of Trustees <br /> <br />The Board of Trustees shall be appointed as follows: <br /> <br />* The county with the greatest population is allocated five members to be <br /> appointed as follows: <br /> <br />a. Two by the county board of commissioners <br />b. Two by the city council of the city with the largest population in that <br /> COUflty <br />c. One by the city council of the city with the second largest population <br /> in that county <br /> <br />* The counties with a population of greater than 95,000 is allocated three <br /> members to be appointed as follows: <br /> <br />a. One by the county board of commissioners <br />b. One by the city council of the city with the largest population within <br /> the participating county <br />c. One by the city council of the city with the second largest population <br /> within the participating county <br /> <br />* The counties with a population of 95,000 or less and with a city of a <br /> population of greater than 15,000, is allocated two members to be <br /> appointed as follows: <br /> <br />a. One by the board of commissioners <br />b. One by the city council of the city with the largest population within <br /> the participating county <br /> <br />* Counties with a population of 95,000 or less and whose largest city has a <br /> population of less than 15,000 is allocated one member to be appointed as <br /> follows: <br /> <br />a. Jointly by the county board of commissioners and the city council of <br /> the largest city within that county, or by procedures agreed upon <br /> between them <br /> <br />* Three members of the Board of Transportation appointed by the Secretary <br /> of Transportation, serving as ex-officio, non-voting members <br /> <br /> <br />
