Section 7: Trainin.q and Technical Assistance. The Grantee shall provide Statewide <br />conferences, seminars, or other instructional activities for the Contractor for the purpose <br />of training and on-site assistance in implementing the Program. <br /> <br /> Section 8: Approach to Weatherization. The Measures Selection Technique(MST) <br />shall be used to determine weatherization measures necessary to make eligible dwelling <br />units more energy efficient. This MST shall be completed on each unit certified for <br />weatherization prior to actual work. " <br /> <br /> Section 9: Final Inspection Prior to reporting a dwelling unit as complete, the <br />Contractor shall assure that a final inspection is performed and shall certify that applicable <br />work has been completed in a satisfactory manner and in accordance with the priorities <br />determined by the Measures Selection Technique. <br /> <br /> Section 10: Reweatherization The Contractor may reweatherize dwelling units <br />which were partially weatherized during the period September 30, 1975 through <br />September 30, 1983. The applicant must reapply for assistance and be re-certified as <br />eligible. The Contractor shall complete a Measures Selection Technique prior to <br />reweatherization and shall account for reweatherized units separately from new <br />completions. <br /> <br /> Section 11: Incidental Repa. ir. Incidental repairs will be permitted in order to make <br />weatherization measures more effective, and will still be limited to those repairs necessary <br />for the effective performance or preservation of weatherization materials. The cost of <br />such repairs will not exceed $300.00 per dwelling unit, nor involve more than twenty-five <br />percent (25%) of a surface area (i.e. roof, floor, ceiling, and interiodexterior walls that form <br />the envelope of the home). <br /> <br />B.) Training and Technical Assistance. The following shall apply to the Training and <br />Technical Assistance component as noted in Part I, section 4B. <br /> <br />Section 1: Scope of Proqram. The contractor shall develop and complete the <br />program in accordance with the contractor's approved training & technical assistance plan <br />attached as exhibit A. Only persons directly involved in the program or the administration <br />of the program are eligible for training or travel reimbursement under this agreement.. All <br />third party training must receive prior written approval from the Grantee. Travel per <br />diem, other than mileage, will not be allowable charges for activities within a 50 mile <br />radius of the Contractor without prior written approval from the Grantee. ~ <br /> <br />In general training and technical assistance activities may include the following: <br /> <br />-12- <br /> <br /> <br />
