Page 2 <br />Cabarrus County <br />June 14, 1993 <br /> <br />Aging Activitie~ <br /> <br />Home and Community Care Block Grant Sen/ices (HCCBG) <br /> <br />Provided technical assistance to the Home and Community Care Block Grant <br />Advisory Committee to continue working on the Cabarrus County Aging Plan. <br /> <br />Completed ALL ABOUT AGING - No. 11, the Area Agency on Aging's monthly <br />informational directive to all local community service providers. <br /> <br />Began revising information for OPTIONS: A Consumer's Guide tO H(~using end <br />Long Term Care for Older Adults in Cabarrus County for 1993. <br /> <br />Facilitated quarterly meeting of the Region F Nutrition Program <br />Directors/Supervisors. <br /> <br />Provided annual training for the Region F Nutrition Sits Managers. <br /> <br />Completed the Region F Area Plan on Aging for FY'94 and submitted plan to the <br />North Carolina Division of Aging. <br /> <br />Received and processed Management Information System (MIS) monthly reports <br />at Centralina and submitted to the Division of Aging. ' <br /> <br />Senior Community Sen/ice Em_oloyment Program <br /> <br />Entered and/or updated enrollee information and prepared Monthly Progress <br />Report to the Division of Aging. <br /> <br />Received and reviewed FY'94 Request for Proposal and compiled information for <br />the Regional Title V Plan to be submitted to the Division of Aging. <br /> <br />Long Term Care Ombudsman Program <br /> <br />Worked with facility administrators, residents and families to resolve grievances. <br /> <br />Presented Resident Rights information during National Nursing Home week at two <br />nursing facilities to residents and staff. <br /> <br />Worked with the Association of Long Term Care Social WOrkers Subcommittee in <br />the development of training session for Community Advisory Committee members. <br /> <br />Facilitated meeting of the Association of Long Term Care Social Workers. <br /> <br /> <br />
