Several pharmacies in the Region are now offering a <br /> collection system for Used sharps. Continued to condUct monthly meeting for solid <br /> waste managers, recycling coordinators and public works personnel, to discuss <br /> current topics, provide legislative updates, disseminate information and address <br /> current concerns. <br /> <br />Building Permit Project- Revised the First Quarter 1993 Building Permit Report. <br />Collection of 1990-92 information ongoing. <br /> <br />Data Center - Continued to monitor and collect statistical information relating to <br />municipalities and counties within the Region and State. Disseminated information <br />upon request to local governments and private sector. <br /> <br />Emergency Services Activities <br /> <br />Recognized Laura Davis and Theresa Ludwick of Cabarrus County EMS; Harvey <br />Morris and Ann Davis of Odell First Responders through the EMS Awards program <br />on May 13. <br /> <br /> <br />
