O. Adhere to the standards set within the County's RFP and C?S's response in <br />the bid proposal and the negotiated telTns cf the P~P a~_d;proposal. All <br />provisions so contained in the above proposal and RFP are a part of this <br />agree~nt by reference thereof. <br /> <br />P. Pay the County an amount equal to the County's cost of providing four (4) <br />full-time driver empleyees, up to a total reimburse~-nt of sixty-five thousand <br />three hundred twenty-two dollars ($65,322.00), for the first year of sel~ice. <br />Payment to the County will .be pro-rated based on the actual n~n%ber of <br />full-time ~-np]oyees provided to CTS, up to said ~mount. <br /> <br />Q. Reduce the~mileage billing rate in proportion to the number of full-time <br />employees provided to CTS by the County. <br /> <br />ARTICLE II. T~ COUNTYWILL: <br /> <br />A. Provide a sufficient number of vans %0 service agencies participating in <br />the system, and will lease these v~ns to CTS at the rate of $1.00 per van per <br />year; <br /> <br />B. Prepare and su~F~nit to the North Carolina Departme~nt of Transportation <br />grant proposals and funding requests for replacement vans for the system, with <br />the assistance of CTS staff; <br /> <br />C. Provide CTS with information concerning authorized riders and pickups <br />between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on the day prior to the day <br />service' is requested; <br /> <br />D. When requesting vans for special trips outside the regular system <br />operation will make their request to CTS with sufficient notice to atlowCTS <br />to arrange for the vehicle(s) and driver(s); <br /> <br />E. Reimburse CTS for transportation provided at the rate of ninety three <br />cents ($.93) per vehicle mile plus three dollars and fifty cents ($3.50) <br />surcharge per bus hour of operation when CTS drivers are provided, with the <br />following conditions attached: <br /> <br />1. Increases in the average per-gallon price of gasoline paid each <br />month over the average per-gallon price of $.72, will be compensated by <br />an increase in the mileage rate paid to CTS as follows: for every five <br />cents ($0.05) increase per gallon of gasoline, the mileage reiraburs~ment <br />rate will be increased by one-half ($.005) cents per veh/c]e m/le; the <br />same condition applies for decreases in the average per-gallon price of <br />gasoline; <br /> <br />2. In the event that an agency requests CTS to provide transportation <br />service for its clients to a destination that would require cTS's <br />driver(s) to be (1) inactive for a period longer than one-quarter hour <br />(15 minutes) and/or (2) stay overnight with the clients at the <br />destination, then the approved rate per mile will be suppl~-nted as <br />follows: <br /> <br /> EY~LE 1 - Trips of up to one day duration requiring a driver and <br />~eh/cle to be out of service for normal operations (to the nearest <br /> <br />3 <br /> page 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
