Planning and Zoning Commission Minutes <br />September 16, 1993 <br /> <br />Paqe 4 <br /> <br />There being no further comments, Mr. smith MOTIONED, <br />seconded by Mr. Moose to defer this exception request <br />until October 21, 1993. The vote was unanimous. <br /> <br />The chair stated to the Board and citizens, that we had <br />on the agenda preliminary subdivision plat approval, <br />Harold Earnhardt Subdivision, but it has been withdrawn. <br /> <br />The chair introduced the second item on the Agenda, Final <br />Subdivision Plat Approval: <br /> <br />Applicant: Joe Stallinqs, et al <br />Request: Final Subdivision Plat Approval <br /> <br />This was a request to the Cabarrus County Planning and <br />Zoning Commission from Joe Stallings, et al, to have his <br />subdivision River Hills Estates III-4 final plat <br />approved. <br /> <br />The chair stated to the Board that they have already <br />granted the preliminary approval, and there is a time <br />statute essentially before that preliminary approval <br />would disappear. So the petitioner of River Hills <br />Estates III-4 is asking that the board grant them a 1 <br />month extension of their preliminary plat approval. <br /> <br />There being no further comments, Mr. Amos MOTIONED, <br />seconded by Mr. Brownlow to grant River Hills Estates <br />III-4 a 1 month extension on their preliminary. The vote <br />was unanimous. <br /> <br />The Chair stated to the citizens that the board is now moving into <br />the atlas amendments which is typically called rezoning petitions. <br />She said this board serves as an advisory capacity for these kind <br />of actions. We will have a staff report and a public hearing and <br />will make a recommendation to the Cabarrus County Commissioners, <br />who will make final approval of these zoning atlas amendments. The <br />Commissioners will make their decision on the third Monday of the <br />month, October 18, 1993. <br /> <br />The chair then introduced the third item on the Agenda, Petition <br />93-08: <br /> <br />Applicant: James & Ruth Fesperman <br />Request: Rezoninq of Property from I-1 to R-15 <br /> <br />This was a request to the Cabarrus County Planning and <br />Zoning Commission from James & Ruth Fesperman, PIN 5603- <br />69-8604, located off Rainbow Drive, to have their <br />property rezoned from I-1 to R-15, for residential use. <br /> <br /> <br />
