B. The Contractor will be notified in writing five (5) days in advance if in violation of one of the above items and if the violation is not corrected during this period, the contract shall be terminated. The Community Development Director or his designated agent will determine the value of work completed at termination and issue a final payment. 15. EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY The Contractor shall not dis- criminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, religion, sex, handicap, family status, or national origin. The Contractor shall, in all solicitations or advertisements for employees placed by or on behalf of the Contractor, state that all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, handicap, family status, or national origin. 16. POLICY OF NONDISCRIMINATION No persons in the United States shall on the ground of race, color, national origin, sex, family status or handicapped be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity funded in whole or in part with funds available under this title. 17.
