B) <br /> <br />Section 3. <br /> <br /> ^) <br /> <br />i3) <br /> <br />Section 4. <br /> A) <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />ADDRESS COORDINATOR: The official of the Cabarrus County <br />Planning, Zoning and Building Inspection Depamment charged <br />with the administration of this Ordinance, except in the City of <br />Concord, including his authorized agent or delegate. <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />ROAD ADDRESS: The combination of numbers and road name <br />assigned by Cabarrus County which uniquely identifies a <br />particular building or lot. <br /> <br />5) <br /> <br />ROAD: A public or private one-way o~ two-way road for ingress <br />and/or egress. Such roads may be of various types ~ncluding <br />frontage roads, rear access roads, roads with cul-de-sacs, and <br />dead end roads. This definition includes secondary roads, but <br />does no,~ include driveways. <br /> <br />Except as specifically set forth in this Section, the definitions in <br />Article II of ~he Cabarrus County Subdivision Reg'ulat~ons shaD'govern <br />the meaning of words and phrases in ~l'fis Ordinance. <br /> <br />Road Names <br /> <br />The road names on file with the Cabarrus County Planning, Zoning and <br />Buildino~ Inspection Department are hereby declared lhe official names <br />el' these roads, unless changed by action of the County Commissioners <br />or the proper municipality. The Plann~n[, Zon~n~ and Dui]din[ <br />Inspection Departmen~ is hereby authorized to determine the need for <br />road name changes and to recommend such chan~es lo the County <br />Commissioners. <br /> <br />All roads in Cabarrus County shall be identified by a sJg'u showing the <br />official name and block numbers. These road signs shall be placed at <br />all intersections and shall identify both intersegtin~ streets. <br /> <br />Administration and Application <br /> <br />The Cabarrus County Planning, Zoning and Building Inspeetion <br />Department will be responsible for the interpretation and administration <br />of this Ordinance within County jurisdiction, including: <br /> <br />1) Assigning all numbers for properties and buildings. <br /> <br />2) Maintaining address records of each properly and building. <br /> <br />3) Changing of existing addresses when necessary to facilitate <br /> sequential house numbers along a road. <br /> <br />4) Designating individual unit addresses within the multiple housing <br /> unhs ]n conformity with this Ordinance. <br /> <br />5) Coordinating with emergency service personnel to assist lhe <br /> public in complying with the requirements of this Ordinance. <br /> <br /> <br />
