The short duraUol'~ <br />noise shall be measured using the fast response of an impact meter <br />utilizing ANSI s~andards. <br /> <br />2. Noise levels resulting from temporary construction or other <br />temporary activity that occurs between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm shall be <br />exempt from the requirements of this subsection. <br /> <br />3. The maximum pressure for air blast shall be 125 decibels measured on <br />the linear scale. <br /> <br />4. Recognizing that there are a certain number of special events, <br />usually celebration events of local importance (i.e., County Fair, <br />Christmas Parades, 4th of July celebra~ons) or major commercial events <br />providing significant economic benefit to the County and drawhlg at least <br />fifty (50%) percent of spectators from out of the state, special provisions <br />should be set forth to exclude these events from the noise level in Table <br />A. <br /> <br />Noise levels which may exceed the specified levels set forth in Table A <br />are permitted on a limited basis by securing a permit from the Zoning <br />Official provided that not more than eight (8) permits for a single event <br />or consecutive day events are granted to a applicant per year. <br /> <br />6O <br /> <br /> <br />
