Juice must be packaged in single <br /> <br />All fresh fruit such as apples, peaches, grapes, pears, <br /> nectarines, and plums shall be w~%hed. <br />Fresh fruit and vegetables, #1 quality. <br />Broocoli, Frozen Spears, 4-1/2", 25% head, 15% leaf, USDA Grade A <br />Rrocooli, Frozen chopped, 1/2" x 1/4", USDA Grade A <br /> <br />Margarine or Butter, I teaspoon on individual covered chip. <br />Milk, fluid, whole, 1/2 pint, Grade A pasteurized, Vitamin D <br /> added. Not less than 8.25% milk solids and not less than <br /> 3.25% milk fat. <br />Milk, low fat buttermilk, 1/2 pint, Grade A, pasteurized <br /> cultured, milk solids not less than 8%. <br />A selection of milk types includ{ng whole milk, skim milk, and <br /> buttermilk must be provided. <br />Cheese, no imitation. <br /> <br />Cakes - all cakes will be frosted or an appropriate fruit topping <br /> will be used. ~kes must be covered with an appropriate <br /> oovering o <br />Salt normally used in all recipes or food preparation will be <br /> reduced by one-half. <br /> <br />Caterer will supply to each site written serving instructions for <br /> each ~rving day specifying the utensils to be used and/or <br /> <br /> participant in order to insure that proper portion are <br /> provided. <br /> <br />Purcha-~_r shall notify Caterer by phone by 2:00 P.M. or each <br />Progl-J~m serving day of its meal requirements for the next serving <br />day. Caterer and Program may agree to an ~lier time. This <br />notification shall constitute a purcba-~e order which will cover <br />the maximum billing for that order. The Program Coordinator <br />or agency designee has the authority to make a change in the number <br />of daily meals to be provided by the Caterer. <br /> <br />The Purchaser may notify the Caterer by 6:30 A.M. of any serving <br />day in the event that inclement weather or any unforese~mble <br />circumstance reduces the meal requirements at any or all sites <br />and no charges will be made to the Purcb~_r for those cancelled <br />meals. If meal orders are cancelled by the Purcb~-~_r after 7:00 <br />A.M., then the Caterer may bill the Purcba-~er based on a prorated <br />cost for meal preparations that have been made prior to the <br />Purch~er's c~_ncellation notice. <br /> <br /> <br />
