-2- <br /> <br /> In the last agenda item, the Advisory Commission reviewed the <br />proposed draft of the By-Laws of the Cabarrus County Parks and <br />Recreation Advisory Commission. The Advisory Commission approved <br />for the elimination of the word Advisory in their official title. <br />In some instances, the general public have questioned their <br />authority to recommend policies, rules and regulations for <br />Recreation Programs and Park facilities. The Commission Chairman <br />Mike Fox would like to present this request to the Cabarrus County <br />Board of Commissioners during their September 21, 1992 meeting. <br />Please notify me if this is possible. <br /> <br />Steve L.
