Color shall mean the true color due to substances in solution <br />which cause any variation in the hue of the receiving stream and is <br />expressed in parts per million. . <br /> <br /> Compatible Pollutant shall mean BOD, suspended solids, pH and <br />fecal coliform bacteria, and such additional pollutants as are now <br />or may be in the future specified and controlled in the <br />Authority's NPDES permit for its wastewater treatment system where <br />the system has been designed and used to reduce or remove such <br />pollutants. <br /> <br /> cooling Water shall mean the water discharged from any use <br />such as air conditioning, cooling or refrigeration during which <br />the only pollutant added to the water is beat. <br /> <br /> Domestic Wastes shall mean liquid wastes from the <br />noncommercial preparation, cooking and handling of food; or <br />containing human excrement and similar matter from the sanitary <br />conveniences of dwellings, commercial buildings, industrial <br />facilities and institutions. <br /> <br /> Environmental Protection Agency, or EPA shall mean the U.S. <br />Environmental Protection Agency, or where appropriate the term may <br />also be used as a designation for the Administrator or other duly <br />authorized official of said agency. <br /> <br /> Excessive Radiation Dose shall mean a dose of radiation in <br />excess of the maximum permissible dose. <br /> <br /> Executive Director shall mean the chief administrative officer <br />of the Water and Sewer Authority. <br /> <br /> Hearing Authority shall mean the Executive Director, Authority <br />Attorney, and Wastewater Treatment Administrator or duly <br />appointed deputies, agents or representatives thereof. <br /> <br /> Incompatible Pollutant shall mean any pollutant which is not <br />a compatible pollutant as defined in this section. <br /> <br /> Infiltration shall mean the water entering a sewer system <br />including sewer service connections from the ground through such <br />means as, but not limited to, defective pipes, pipe joints, <br />connections or manhole walls. Infiltration does not include, and <br />is distinguished from, inflow. <br /> <br /> <br />
