' sion Cable of North Carolina, h c.

~hael Ruffin.
hours. Our extended office hours, until 6:00pm, have
provided an extra level of convenience. Additional efforts
to assist our Customers with improved service will include
the change to cycle billing later in 1991. This will allow
us to deliver our billing to as many as four distinct groups
of customers.

Vision Cable had the pleasure of participating in
several community activities through 1990. We are committed
to being active participants in the local neighborhoods we
serve. Some of the many activities from the past year
include:

1. Our technical staff worked diligently to install cable
service to over 22 new and existing public schools in
our area. "Cable in the Classroom", a national
coalition of Cable TV programming services, will offer
innovative teaching opportunities in 1991. Through
this coalition and Vision Cable of NC, we have made the
Discovery Channel and CNN Newsroom available to area
teachers and media specialists to use in their
teaching curriculum.

our fees were donated to The
2.
A
portion
of
installation
Muscular Dystrophy Association in August, and the
Salvation Army received almost $ 1600 from an
installation revenue campaign in December.

3. Stuffed animals were donated to the Thompson's
Children's Home, a VCR to the MMAE's INN, Charlotte's
Hospital Hospitality House, and two needy families
received an array of canned goods, clothes, household
items and linens during the Christmas Holidays.

4. When American TroOps were sent to Saudia Arabia in
Operation Desert Shield, Vision Cable looked for a way
to support their efforts. We implemented a Christmas
Mail Campaign, inviting everyone in the community to
bring by cards and letters written to the servicemen,
for which we would pay all postage costs. Hundreds of
letters were brought into our office.

4606MargaretWallaceRd.. Matthews, N0dhCarolina281~ .704/~5-01~
