Admission for respite care will be based on caregiver~s <br /> need and the appropriateness of the services offered by the Center to meet <br /> these needs. Priority is given to serving individuals with the greatest <br /> economic or social need ~ith particular attention to lo~ income minority <br /> I individuals who meet the above eligibility requirements. <br /> 7. FROCEDL~ES ~OR REFERRAL ~ROH ~URCHAS~. <br /> I a. All referrals for the direct service provision shall be referred to the <br /> Depart~ent of Aging. ]~ach case will be evaluated by the ~urchaser and <br /> ireferred to the Center for the purchase of the service. <br /> <br /> b.Caregive£~s requesting respite care ~ill have an initial conference <br /> vith the Center at least seven (7) days prior to admission. <br /> I c. The Center will be responsible for explanation of policies an~ <br /> procedures to caregiver~s during conference. <br /> <br /> 8.
