Indemnity and Insurance: DSS agrees to indemnify and save ha:mless the Area <br /> Agency on Aging, its agents and employees from and against any and all loss, <br /> cost, damages, expense and liability caused by an accident or other <br /> occurrence causing bodily injury, including death, sickness and disease to <br />1 destruction to real or personal, which arise <br /> person <br /> property, <br /> may <br /> from operations, products or sex~,ices rendered under this contract. <br /> <br /> I DSS at their o~n expense, shall take out and maintain for the duration of <br /> this contract, the followin§ policies and insurance: <br /> <br /> I (a) Automobile bodily injury and property damage liability covering all <br /> owned, non-o~ned, and hired automobiles for limits of not less than <br /> $250,000 each person, $500,000 each occurrence bodily injury liability <br /> and $250,000 each occurrence property damage liability. If the Agency <br /> I is funded to provide transportation services, then insurance to cover <br /> up to $2,000 in medical payments shall also be required. (b) <br /> Comprehensive General Liability including coverage for personal injury <br /> hazards A, B, and C, products and completed operations and contractual <br /> liability assumed under the indeamity provision of the contract, for <br /> limits of not less than $$00,000 bodily injury liability each <br /> <br /> m occurrence/aggregate and $250,000 property damage liability each <br /> occurrence/a§gregate. (c) Workers Compensation and Occupational <br /> Disease Insurance meetivg the statutory requirements of the State of <br /> North Carolina end Employersf liability injury for an amount of not <br /> I less than $100,000. <br /> Certificates of such insurance will be furnished to the Purchaser prior <br /> I to any pa~ent of funds under the contract and shall contain the <br /> provision that Centralina be given thirty (30) days written notice of <br /> any intent to amend or teminate such policies by either the DSS or the <br /> <br /> i insuring company. <br /> 14a. Indemnity and Insurance: The P~rchaser asrees to indemnify and save <br /> harmless the Area Agency on Aging, its agents andemployees from and against <br /> I any and all loss, cost, d=~-ges, expense and liability caused by an accident <br /> or other occurrence causinE bodily injury, includini death, sickness and <br /> disease to any person or destruction to property, real or personal, which <br /> I may arise from operations, products or services rendered under this <br /> <br /> 15. Chan~es. The Purchaser or DSS may require changes in the work and services <br /> I which DSS is to perform hereunder. Such chan~es, if includini <br /> increase or decrease in the amount of DSS compensation which are mutually <br /> a~reed upon by and betueen the Purchaser and the DSS, shall be incorporated <br />Iin written a~end~ents to this contract and must be satisfactorily addressed <br />as specified in an attachment.
