Mr. Amos also <br /> asked what are the requirements of a subdivision on this <br /> rezoning. Is it only by parcel, and the land need to be <br /> deeded out to other people. <br /> <br /> Mr. Newton stated if there was a public road to be put <br /> in, it would still require going through the subdivision <br /> regulations. They would need to have g driveway which <br /> would now meet the standards, so whether or not the land <br /> is further divided, the fact that there is a public road <br /> going through the property will cause the development to <br /> come before this Planning and Zoning Commission again. <br /> <br /> Mr. Amos asked Mr. Newton to define public road. <br /> <br /> Mr. Newton stated a public road is one that would be <br /> built to State standards and approved and accepted into <br /> the State Road Maintenance System. <br /> <br />Chairman Randall opened the public meeting on Petition 91-08 asking <br />if anyone would like to speak for or against this petition~ <br /> <br /> Mr. David Austin, Owner of Dogwood, addressed the Board <br /> stating he would like to introduce Walter Carry, Dogwood <br /> Partners Planner, from Cooper-Carry out of Atlanta <br /> Georgia. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walter Carry, President of the firm of Architectural <br /> Planners in Atlanta called Cooper-Carry Associates <br /> addressed the Board presenting them with a site plan of <br /> the industrial site. Mr. Carry stated what Do~wood <br /> Partners would like to do is to attract a type of light <br /> industry and set a tone for it by having the best land <br /> and let it from there. <br /> use <br /> possible <br /> grow <br /> <br /> Chairman Randall stated this is a straight rezoning and <br /> Dogwood Partners are not being held to this particular <br /> schematic of where the road will lie or any kind of <br /> parcel development. This is just general information of <br /> wha~ their intent might be. <br /> <br /> Mr. Nartgen asked if this is a park or is it proposed to <br /> be subdivided and passed on to other owners who may do <br /> what they wish with the parcels. <br /> <br /> Mr. Bill Cannon, Owner of Dogwood Partners, addressed the <br /> Board stating to answer a question like that, he wished <br /> he could see in the future.
