These meetings will be facilitated by McCoy. Page will assist in <br /> facilitation and will have direct input in the development of options on <br /> each of the items. <br /> <br /> 3. Needed staff ac~x-.'ties will be provided by the pertinent Cabartus County <br /> agencies. <br /> <br /> 4. Ou~ preferred position on meeting frequency and time is as follows: <br /> <br /> Meet every week <br /> Meet on Monday evening flora 5:.30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br /> If the committee is not comfortable with this su'acture, our next most <br /> favored position is to meet on a two-week sequence oa Mondays from <br /> 7:00 p.m.-8:30 p.m. <br /> <br /> $. The writing of the Final report has not been discussed. Thc Committee <br /> might want to consider an option of having the two consultants write a <br /> ch-aft report. If this option is ti.ken, Uae draft report will be a short <br /> document that would constitute an executive summRry of thc process and <br /> resulting recommendations. Any additional background material that the <br /> Committee wished to accompany the report would be the rcsponsibillty of <br /> the agency staffs. <br /> <br />~ Cost of Services <br /> <br /> The United Way of Central Carolinas has historically worked in parmership with <br />local gos'emment in its service area. Given the nature of this proposal ~nd the potential <br />community benefit, United Way will provide its services at no cost. The relative value of <br />these services is $1,500. <br /> <br /> Urban Institute charges for sendces are as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Meeting facilitation charges are $50 per hour. For each meeting a total of <br /> three hours will be included. The meeting itself is one and one-half hours, <br /> travel time is thirty minutes, and planning time is one hour. The cost for <br /> services for ten meetings is $1,500. <br /> <br /> 2. Costs of navel, supplies, printing, secretarial time and other incidental <br /> costs will be S500. <br /> <br /> 3. The Urban Institute charges a ten percent administrative fee on all <br /> contracts. This amount will be $200 on this contract. <br /> <br /> <br />
