OF ECO~OHIC <br /> CO~ZUNIT~ DEVELOP~N? <br /> <br /> CO~II~ D~VELOP~g B~CK G~I PROG~ <br /> <br />Upo~ executloa of this sraat agreement, the ~orth C~roli~s Deps~tm~nt of <br />Economic and Co.unity Development (ECD) agrees to provide to the recipient <br />the Co.unity Development Block Grant assistance under Title ~ of the Housi~ <br />and Co.unity Development Act of 197~, as ~ended (P.L. 93-383) authorized by <br />the ECD fundi~ approval, the North Carolina Co~unlty Development Block Grant <br />ad~inlstrative rules, applicable la~s and all other requirements of ECD now or <br />hereafter in effect. The ~rant a~ree~ent is effective on the date t~e ~rant <br />agreement and fundin~ approval are si~ned by the recipient. The irant <br />a~reement consists of the approved application, includini the certifications, <br />~aps, schedules and other submissions in t~ application, any subsequent <br />a~endments to the approved applicition and fun~inl approval snd the follo~in~ <br /> terms and conditions: <br />general <br /> <br /> 1. ~finitions. Except to the exten~ ~odlfied or s~pplemented <br /> the agreement, any term defined in the ~orth Carolina Co~unlty <br /> Development Block ~rant Administrative Rules, i RCAC 19L shall <br /> have t~e s~me meanin~ ~ben used herein. <br /> <br /> (a) ~reement means th~s grant alreem~t, as described above, <br /> a~d any amendments or supplements thereto. <br /> <br /> (b) Recipient means the entit)' desitn~ted as a recipient <br /> for <br /> gra~t assistance i~ the grant agreement and ~undin~ ~pproval. <br /> <br /> (c) Certifications ~ea~ t~e certifications sub~it~ed ~ith <br /> ~rant application pursuant to the reluirements of Paragraph <br /> oi R~le .0~0~ of the ~ortb Carolina Co.unity Development <br /> Block Grant Administrative Rules, i NCAC <br /> <br /> (d)Assistance provided under this agreement means the ~rant <br /> funds provided ~nder this <br /> <br /> (e) Pro~ra~ means the co.unity development program, project, <br /> or other activities, i~cl~gini t~e administration thereof, <br /> ~or ~bic~ assistance is beint provided under this airee~ent. <br /> <br /> 2, Obliiatio~s o{ the Recipient. ~he recipient sba11 perform the <br /> pro~ra~ as specified in the application approved by <br /> recipient shall co~ply ~ith the certification pursuant to <br /> Paragraph (e) of Rule .0t07 of ~he ~orth Carolina Co~u~ity <br /> <br /> <br />
