Page 5 of ? <br /> destruction to property, real or personal, whicb may arise from <br /> operations, products or services rendered under this contract. <br /> <br />15b. The Center at its own expense shall procure and maintain for the <br /> duration of this contract for Comprehensive General Liability <br /> including coverage for personal injury hazards A, B, and C, products <br /> and completed operations and contractual liability assumed under the <br /> indemnity provision of this contract for limits of not less that <br /> $500,000 bodily injury liability each occurrence/aggregate and <br /> $250,000 property damage liability each occurrence/aggregate. <br /> Workers Compensation and Occupational Disease Insurance meeting the <br /> statutory requirements of the State of North Carolina and employers'- <br /> liability insurance for an amount of no~ less that $100,000. If the <br /> the Center, with the permission of the Purchaser, subcontracts any <br /> of the work or services under this contract, then the Center shall <br /> require the subcontractor to carry the appropriate insurance and to <br /> save harmless the Center and the Purchaser. <br /> <br /> Assurance statements shall be furnished by the Center r~flecting <br /> such coverage prior to any payment of funds under this contract and <br /> shall contain the provision that the Council be given thirty days <br /> written notice of any intent to amend or terminate such policies by <br /> either the Agency or the insuring company. <br /> <br />16. Changes. The Purchaser may require changes in the work and services <br /> ~ich the Center is to perform hereunder. Such changes, including <br /> any increase or decrease in the amount of the Center's compensation, <br /> which are mutually agreed upon by and between the Purchaser and the <br /> Center shall be £hcorporated in written amendments to this contract. <br /> Conditions of this contract, if any, must be satisfactorily <br /> addressed as specified in Attachment A. The Purchaser may withhold <br /> pasments under this contract until these conditions are satisfied. <br /> <br />17. Termination of the Contract for Cause. If through any cause, the <br /> Center shall fail to fulfill in m timely and proper manner its <br /> obliga£~ons under this contract, or if the Center has to shall <br /> violate any of the covenants, agreements, representations or <br /> stipulations of this contract, the Purchaser shall therefore have <br /> the right to 'terminate this contract by giving written notice to <br /> the Center of such termination and specifying the effective date <br /> thereof. In such event, all finished documents and other materials <br /> cellected or produced under this contract shall at the option of the <br /> Purchaser, become the property o£ the Purchaser- The Center shall <br /> be entitled to receive just and equitable compensation for any work <br /> satisfactorily performed under this contract, except to the extent <br /> such work must be duplicated in order to complete the contract. <br /> <br /> <br />
