All manufacturing, testing, office <br />and activities shall be conducted within an enclosed <br />building, <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />Outside Storage. Outside storage will be permitted, but <br />shall be completely screened on all sides by plantings in <br />accordance with Section 5.10. Storage will not be permit- <br />ted in the' front yard, . <br /> <br />7, <br /> <br />Off-Street Parking and Loading. Off-street parking and <br />loading shall be provided in accordance with the standards <br />set forth in sections 5.8 and 5.9 of this ordinance. <br />Parking and loading will not be permitted in the front, <br />side or rear setback area. All driveways leading from the <br />property shall be paved. <br /> <br />B, <br /> <br />Signs. One on-premise freestanding sign shall be permit- <br />ted for each conditional use. The maximum size shall not <br />be greater than thirty six (36) square feet. No signs <br />shall be lighted in such a way as to cause a glare or <br />shine on adjacent property, No signs shall be permitted <br />to be attached to the walls, windows. doors, roofs, or any <br />portion of a building on a lot of which the conditional <br />use is applied for. Maximum sign height shall be fifteen <br /><15) feet. <br /> <br />Performance Stan~ards <br /> <br />The Board of Adjustment must find that the following performance <br />standards must also be met before a conditional Use permit can be <br />issued. <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Noise. Objectionable noise shall be muffle~ or eliminated <br />so as not to become a nuisance to adjacent uses. It shall <br />be the responsibility of the applicant to provide proof <br />that all noise for the operation can meet the requirements <br />of Section 5.21-6. The Board of Adjustment may require <br />more stringent noise restriction if they find as a fact <br />that noise should be muffled below standards of Section <br />5.21-6. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Smoke Emission. Every use shall be so operated as to <br />prevent the emission of smoke, dust, and dirt. etc., from <br />any Source whatsoever. to standards no greater than per- <br />mitted by the North Carolina Department of Natural Re- <br />sources and Community Development whose standards of air <br />pollution for industrial uses are hereby made by refer- <br />ence, a part of this ordinance. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Dust and Dirt, Every Use shall be so operated as to <br />prevent the emission in the air of dust or other solid <br />matter which may cause damage to property. discomfort to <br />
