This will include an analysis of mandatory versus <br /> voluntary programs. The sensitivity to changes in market <br /> pri~es' also will be assessed. Also, any changes to the <br /> existing so~id waste management system including legal and <br /> institutional changes which may be necessary will be <br /> identified. The impact of the various system alternatives <br /> ident~fied on overall solid waste disP°sal requirements will <br /> he assessed. <br /> <br /> CDM, after review with the County, will develop the <br /> methodology for implementing awaste separation/recycling <br /> pilot program. This wilt include an assessment of the costs, <br /> logistics, goals, and evaluation criteria for the program. <br /> <br /> A conceptual design for a recycling processing center will he <br /> developed and will include the sizing of equipment needed, <br /> building and grounds layout, and manpower projection needs. <br /> Capital and operation and maintenance costs will he <br /> estimated. <br /> <br />TASK E - REPORTS AND MEETINGS <br /> <br />CDMwill prepare and submit 10 copies of the final report. CDMwill attend <br />one mee{ingwith the County during the study period and will present the <br />findings and conclusions Of the study to the Board of County Cor~olssioners <br />and/or the Resource Recovery Committee at one meeting after the study <br />period. <br /> <br /> <br />
