Efforts are made to <br /> take Senior Games to the people by holding special events and training clinics et malls, <br /> meal sites, senior centers, senior citizens' meetings and churches. <br /> <br /> The Senior Games Steering Committee is made up of athlete participants and recreation <br /> and aging professionals. All planning and evaluation is done by the committee as e whole. <br /> <br /> In regard to audience development, Senior Games is a great spectator event. Family <br /> members and friends are encouraged to come to all events. The Office of Aging Services <br /> affords transportation to those older adults who need it. <br /> <br /> All communications for Senior Games are handled through a publicity chairman with <br /> assistance from several older adults. <br /> <br /> <br />
