information, and belief, the quality of the work is in accordance with the <br /> Contract Documonts (subject to an evaluation of the work as a functioning <br /> project upon substantial completion, to the results of any subsequent tests <br /> called for in the Contract Documents and to any qualifications stated in his <br /> approval), but by approving an application for pa~anent, ENGINEER snail not be <br /> deemed to have represented that ENGINEER has made any examination to determine <br /> how or for what purposes the Contractor has used the moneys paid on account of <br /> the contract price.. <br /> <br /> 1.5.6. Receive and review maintenance and operating instructions, schedules, <br /> guarantees, bonds, and certificates of inspection, tests, and approvals which <br /> are to he assembled by Contractor in accordance with the Contract Documents to <br /> determine that their content complies with the requirements of, and in the case <br /> of certificates of inspection, tests, and approvals, the results certified <br /> indicate compliance with the Contract Documents; and shall transmit them to <br /> OWNER with written comments. <br /> <br /> 1.5.7. Conduct a Construction review to determine if the work is substantially <br /> complete and a final Construction review to determine if the completed work is <br /> acceptable so that ENGINEER may recommend, in writing, final payment to <br /> Contractor and may give written notice to OWNER and the Contractor that the <br /> work is acceptable subject to any conditions therein expressed. <br /> <br /> 1.5.8. Prepare a set of reproducible record prints of Drawings showing those <br /> cnanges made during the construction process, based en the marked~up prints, <br /> drawings, and other data furnished by Contractor to ENGINEER. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2 - ADDITIOltAL SERVICES <br /> <br /> 2.1. General. <br /> <br /> The following Additional Services are not included in the Basic Services. They <br /> shall be provided if authorized or confirmod in writing by the OWNER, and shall <br /> be paid for by the OWNER as provided in this Agreement, in addition to <br /> compensation for Basic Services. <br /> <br /> 2.2. Resident Field Representation. <br /> <br /> 2.2.1. The OWNER and ENGINEER agree that more extensive representation at the <br /> site ~hall be provided than is described under Paragraph 1.5, Construction <br /> Phase - Administration of the Construction Contract. ENGINEER shall provide <br /> one or more Field Representatives as mutually agreed between OWNER and ENGINEER <br /> to assist ENGINEER in carrying out such responsibilities at the site. Field <br /> representation shall be on a full time basis. <br /> <br />'Full time Field Representation is generally defined as having a representative <br /> on site 40 hours per week. <br /> <br /> 2.2.2. Such Field Representatives shall be selected, employed, and directed by <br /> ENGINEER, and ENGINEER shall be compensated therefor as mutually agreed between <br /> the OWNER and ENGINEER as set forth in this Agreement. The duties, responsi- <br /> bilities and limitations of authority of suc~ Field Representatives shall be <br /> described in the ENGINEER's General Conditions of the Contract Documents. <br /> <br /> -5- <br /> <br /> <br />
