Met with <br /> Town officials twice for review of ordinance. <br /> <br /> SBA Activities <br /> <br />- Sold debentures for loa~' of $147,000 for Kwik Way Catering. <br /> <br /> Management Activities <br /> <br />Mount Pleasant <br /> <br /> Answered questions about insurance premiums. <br /> <br />KannaDolis <br /> <br /> Began field work and other data colleetion for the Kannapolis Sanitary <br /> Distriet Risk Management Study and insurance bid. <br /> <br /> Emergency Services <br /> <br />- Worked with Emergency Management Director and Harrisburg Rescue Squad to <br /> clear up questions regarding the funding of radio equipment for the squad . <br /> next fiscal year. <br /> <br /> ;II'PA Activities <br /> <br /> DraJ'ted a letter to DNRCD Assistant Secretary Mary Joan Pugh on the <br /> Centralina Older Workers' Program indicating how well the program was <br /> doing and encouraging her to leave the program with SDA's. Distributed <br /> SYEP "Early Start-up" and award letters to the Summer Youth Operators. <br /> <br /> ARing Activities <br /> <br /> Met with Cabarrus County Nursing and Domiciliary Home Community Advisory <br /> Committee at their regular quarterly meeting to provide training on the <br /> new reporting system, to bring them up to date On the allocation of <br /> nursing home beds, and to review legislative issues. <br /> <br /> <br />
