Refusal to'Accept Meter <br /> <br />Should any parson pay a Special fee during an <br />initial sign-up period and thereafter refuse to permit or <br />allow a meter to be installed at the time the water line is <br />laid in front of hie property, and to ~ay tho minimum rate <br />from the date water becomes available through said line, <br />enid per'son ia to be refunded his fee. Thereafter, to <br />receive water, said applicant must pay the standard meter <br />charge. <br /> <br /> N. Penalties <br /> <br /> The County may discontinue water services to any <br />customer due to an infraction of these rules and <br />regulations, non-payment o! bills, or for any reason that <br />may be detrimental to the system. Service will not be <br />reinstated until the conditions bringing about cut-off have <br />been satisfied. These costs may include, but not be limited <br />to, delinquent water bills, turn-off and turn-on fees', and <br />any damages to the water system. If a discontinued service <br />ia reinstated without authorization, then the meter will be <br />removed, an additional c~arge levied in the amount of <br />S25.00, end the owner or person responsible for such <br /> unauthorized installation will be subject to all penalties, <br /> civil or criminal, now provided by the law. <br /> <br /> O. Tresoessino <br /> <br /> It shell be unlawful for any person to enter upon, <br />walk, ride, bathe, swim, boat, skate, hunt, fish, or <br />trespass in any manner upon any portion of any pond, <br />reservoir, watershed, or any land or building owned, leased <br />or controlled by the County. <br /> <br /> III. EXTENSIO~ POLICIES <br /> <br /> Extension of the existing County owned, maintained, <br />or operated water system may be addressed as to either <br />existing development which could include residential, <br />commercial, or Industrial, or new development. In both <br />cases extensions will be designed es that each individual <br />property served wilt have direct access to the water tine. <br />In addition water lines owned by the County will only be <br />installed within the right-of-way of publicly dedicated and <br />maintained streets unless otherwise permitted in these <br />policies. <br /> <br /> A. Extension of Service Into Oevelooed Areas <br /> <br /> Requests for extension of service should be made <br /> to the Director of County Utilities in writing. <br /> <br /> <br />
