NORTH CAROLINA ORDER CABARRUS COUNTY The Board of County Commissioners for Cabarrus County, North Carolina, at its regular meeting held in the Commissioners' Room in the Cabarrus County Courthouse on January 16, 1984, at 8:00 o'clock p.m., does make the following findings of fact: 1. That a petition has been duly filed with the Board of Commissioners for Cabarrus County requesting that following described segment of Barcliff Road be closed: BEGINNING at the corner of Lots No. 26 and 28 on the E. side of said road and running in a northerly direction R=120.O0 feet to a point in Lot No, 26; thence across Barcliff Road, S. 79-05-01E. 60 feet to a point in Lot No. 29 and in the western edge of said road; thence with the front of Lot No. 29 R=IB0.00, L=90.84 to the front corner of Lot No. 50; thence with Lot No. 31, R=180.00, L=163.28 feet to a point of Lot No. 32; thence with the Southern side of said street N. 88-10-01E. 476.84 feet to a point in the front line of Lot No. 40~ thence with said street R=180, L=167,24 feet to a point in Lot No. 44; thence crossing said street N. 64-54-12 W. 60 feet to a point in the front of Lot No, 42; thence with Lot No. 42, R=120 and L=132.09 to a point in Lot No. 42; thence with the northern side of Barcliff Street, N. 88-10-01 E. 4S9.77 feet to a point in the edge of the street and the front of Lot No. 28; thence R=120.O0, L=152.64 feet to the point of BEGINNING. 2. That the Board of Commissioners on December 19, 1982, adopted a resolution declaring its intent to close that segment of Barcliff Road described above and setting a public hearing to be held on said resolution at 8:00 o'clock p.m. on January 16, 1984, at the Commissioners' Meeting. 3. That said hearing was held by the Board of County Commissioners and at the hearing there appeared a.bl. Fag~art, Presidm~t of Southern Homes, Inc. who gave information to the Board concerning the segment to be closed and filed with the Board an Affidavit concerning said closing. 4, That the following notices were given of the public hearing: (a) Caused to be published in the Concord Tribune for four suc- cessive weeks before this hearing a copy of the resolution of intent which was adopted by the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners relative to the closing of the street. The publisher's Affidavit of publication is attached to this Affidavit as Exhibit A. (b) That petitioners own all property contingent to Barcliff Road.
