1 ask the Board to take the following action by affirmative vote. <br /> <br />]'nat a thorough review, update and republishing of the Cabarrus County <br />Personnel Ordinance, dated August 4, 1977 be, undertaken and that this <br />review be accomplished in the following manner: <br /> <br /> 1. that Centralina Council of Government be contracted with to <br /> be the review agency expediter. <br /> <br /> 2. that a special ad-hoc personnel committee be created for the <br /> specific and only task of working with Centralina Council of <br /> Government personnel in the review process; and that this com- <br /> mittee be constituted as follows: <br /> <br /> a. County Manager <br /> b. ~,o county employees selected by the county manager <br /> c. Two con~nissioners, appointed by the chairman <br /> d. The Board of Co~mnissioners shall appoint: <br /> -two representatives from private industry with exper- <br /> tise in the area of personnel matters <br /> <br /> -one representative from a state agency knowledgeable <br /> of state personnel policies <br /> ¢ <br /> -one citizen at large <br /> <br /> <br />
