Meetings with the Rural Development Panel and Small Woodlot Comm- <br />ittee have been attended by the Rangers. <br /> <br />FIRE CONTROL <br /> <br />Eleven fires have been rep6rte~ this quarter. Most burned less <br />than one acre. <br /> <br />Both Rangers have attended Chief's and VFD Association meetings. <br />visits have been made to five individual departments. <br /> <br />Training in fire control continues for both Rangers. Courses com- <br />pleted include Basic Fire Fighter, Introduction to Fire Behavior, <br />and Crew Boss Course. <br /> <br />WORK PENDING <br /> <br />Fifteen forest management plans, involving approximately 500 acres, <br />remain to be completed.
