SECTION C. Variance Procedures (1) The Cabarrus Coonty Planning Board, as established by Cabarrus Couaty~ shall hear and decide appeals and requests for varzances from tbe re- quirements of this ordinance. (2) The Cabarrus County Planning Board shall hear and decide appeals when it is alleged there is an error in any requirements, decision, or determina- tioa made by the Cabarrus County Director of Planning in the enforcement or administration of this ordinance. (3) Any person aggrieved by tile decisioa of the Cabarrus County Planning Board or any taxpayer may appeal such decision ~o the Superior Court of Cabarrus County, as provided in North Carolina General Statutes i43-215.57. (4) Variances may be issued for the reconstruction, rehabilitation or re- storation of structures listed on the National Register of Historic Places of the State Inventory of Historic Places without regard to the procedures set forth in tile remainder of this section.
