PETITION FOR THE EXTENSION OF THE <br /> BOURDARIES OF THE ROYAL OAKS SANITARY DISTRICT <br /> <br /> TO the Board of Commissioners of the Royal Oaks Sanitary District: <br /> <br /> The'undersigned, owner of all of the land described hereinbelow, <br />respectfully petitions that all necessary action required by Article 12 <br />of Chapter 130 of the General Statutes of North Carolina for the exten- <br />sion of the boundaries of the Royal Oaks Sanitary District in Cabarrus <br />County be taken so as to annex said land and include the same within <br />the boundaries of the said Royal Oaks Sanitary District under the <br />authority of said Article 12 of Chapter 130 of the General Statutes of <br />North Carolina. <br /> <br /> The purpose of this petition is the annexation of the land or <br />territory described below to said Royal Oaks Sanitary District so that <br />said district will include said territory within its boundaries and so <br />that water and sewerage facilities and other utilities and services <br />which said district is authorized to provide may be provided in said <br />territory for the preservation and promotion of the public health and <br />sanitary Welfare therein. <br /> <br /> The petitioner understands that all costs for the installation <br />of the necessary water and sewer lines in the territory hereinafter <br />described and the connection thereof to the existing lines of the <br />district and legal expenses and costs of annexation will be at its <br />expense, and all work and other matters done in connection with said <br />annexation will be in accordance with the provisions of the district's <br />rules, regulations and policies. The petitioner further understands <br />that following annexation of the territory, the lines installed wiI1 <br />become the property of the Royal Oaks Sanitary Districf and the district <br />will service and maintain said lines. <br /> <br /> The boundaries of the territory petitioned ko be annexed to and <br />included in the Royal Oaks Sanitary District are as follows: <br /> <br /> BEGINNING at a point in the boundary line of the Royal Oaks <br /> Sanitary District where the property line between the properties <br /> of T. O. Barrier and Hallmark Homes, Inc. intersects the sani- <br /> tary district boundary line, this point lying approximately 223 <br /> feet west of the point where the sanitary district, boundary line <br /> intersects the center line of Coneord Lake Road, and runs thence <br /> South 31-34-32 East 150 feet to an iron; thence South 57-54-05 <br /> West 420.54 feet to an iron; thence South 31-52-14 East 239.86 <br /> feet to an iron; thence South 9-51-36 East 298.76 feet to an <br /> iron; thence North 72-07-24 East 447.00 feet to a point on the <br /> edge of the pavement of Concord Lake Road; thence along the <br /> edge of said road in three courses as follows: (1) South 8-37-03 <br /> East 198.92 feet; (2) South 6-56-33 East 188.75 feet; (3) South <br /> 1-02-53 West 130.84 feet; thence South 74-33-22 West 882.11 feet <br /> to an iron; thence North 31-27-38 West 994.61 feet,~more or less, <br /> to a point in the boundary line of the Royal Oaks Sanitary District; <br /> thence along the boundary line of the Royal Oaks Sanitary District <br /> as it runs in an easterly direction for a distance of 1,166.94 <br /> feet, more or less, to the point of Beginning. <br /> <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br /> HALLMARK HOMES, INC. <br /> <br /> Attest':' ~' "... <br /> <br /> <br />
