Proposed Improven~nts for High Risk Maternity Clinic: <br /> A. Additional Personnel: <br /> 1. Public Health Nurse III <br /> <br /> The Public Health Nurse III will meeE the criteria for team leader - her <br /> functions will be: <br /> <br /> a. To act as coordinator for the high risk mternity program. <br /> b. To supervise other nurses, aides, and outreach ~rkers assigned to <br /> work in the program as delegated by the supervisor. <br /> c. TO coordinate followup care of patients referred from Stanly county. <br /> d. To provide inikial orientation to the staff in the catchment areas <br /> as to the availability of high risk maternity services. <br /> e. To coordinate work assignments of all clinic staff. <br /> f. To help assess, plan, and evaluate high risk maternity services. <br /> g. To conduct interdisciplinary post clinic conference. <br /> h. To ensure that an effective appoinhnent system is used. <br /> To plan for effective management of clinic. <br /> j. To ensure that written, approved policy/procedures are present and <br /> known by all staff. <br /> <br /> <br />
