A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THAT THE CABARRU$ C0b~TY PLA2;NING <br /> '"7' DEPARTMENT ADMINISTER THE COUNTY SUBDIV--ISION ORDiNanCE <br />,' WITHIN THE JuRISOiCTI~-~-%HE TOWN OF HA,~RISSU~ <br /> <br /> W}{EREAS the town of ~sz,risburg . recognizes the need and accepts <br /> the responsibility for providing for the health, sa[ety and general <br /> welfare of its citizens, especially as in the area of subdivision of <br /> land; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS the town of ~arrisburg currently does not have a <br /> subdivision ordinance; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS the County has recen%ly enacted a subdivision ordinance; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED THAT THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE <br /> TOWN OF HARRISBURG, NORTH ~AROLINA, after holding the required public <br /> hearing, formaly requests that Cabarrus County and the Cabarrus County <br /> Planning Staff administer the County Subdivision Ordi6ance within the <br /> jurisdictipn of the town. <br /> <br /> This resolution is adopted after motion, second and roll call <br /> during regular session on this date. <br /> <br /> DATED: July <br /> <br /> ATTEST: ' TOWN COL~CIL OF THE TOWN OF <br /> C~erk to the Town-_'CounciI~ HARRISBURG, NORTH CAROLINA .......
