A regular meeting of the Sanitary District Board of the <br /> Kannapolis Sanitary District, in Cabarrus and Rowan Counties, <br /> North. Carolina, was held at the Kannapolis Sanitary District <br /> <br /> Administration Building, Floyd Street, Kannapolis, N. C., within <br /> the boundaries of said sanitary district, on June 26, 1969, at <br /> <br /> 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br /> Present: Everette L. Murph, Chairman, Carl W. Brown, <br /> <br /> H. Clee Overcash, and Carl B. Shinn, Members, and Harold D. <br /> <br /> Holbrook, Member and Secretary. <br /> Absent: None. <br /> <br /> H. Clee Overcash introduced the following resolution <br /> ~ which was read: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION CERTIFYIN~ THE REQUESTED TAX RATE TO THE BOARD <br /> OF CO~ C01~IMISSlONIgRS OF ~h.l~ffi~US COUI~/, NORTH CAROLI~ <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Kannapolls Sanitary District Board bas met <br /> <br /> and, in compliance with North Carolina General Statutes 130-131, <br /> <br /> I bas determined the amount of funds necessary to be raise~ by tax <br /> assessment and has determined the number of cents per one hundred <br /> dollars property valuation necessary to raise said amount; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Sanitary District Board now desires to certify <br /> to the Board of County Commissioners of Cabarrus County, North <br /> Carolina the number of cents per one hundred dollars property <br /> valuation to be levied as a tax for the Kannapolis Sanitary <br /> District; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Kannapolis Sanitary District Board has found <br /> that the said tax rate for the year 1969 should be _forty (40¢) .~ <br /> cents per one hun4red dollars property valuation; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREF0~E, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED: <br /> <br /> Section 1.
