850 <br /> <br /> At the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners meeting <br /> <br />March 1, 1971, the following resolution was unanimously adopted on <br /> <br />motion made by McClary and seconded by Gallimore: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners hag <br /> <br />reviewed the Resource Conservation and Development Project as <br />proposed by the Central Piedmont Resource Conservation and <br />Development Agency, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Central Piedmont Resource Conservation and <br /> <br />Development Agency intends to undertake activities of apparent <br />benefit to the region which are substantially in conformity <br />with goals and objectives for the region as desired by the <br />board, <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Cabarrus County <br /> <br />Board of Con~nissioners does hereby endorse the Central Piedmont <br />Resource Conservation and Development concept and agrees to <br />serve as a sponsor. <br /> <br /> Jo~e M~senheimer, Clerk of the <br /> Board of Commissioners for County <br /> of Cabarrus <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br /> <br /> <br />
